How to use SVG to PNG
Pick the width you will actually display
Enter the output width and the height follows the drawing’s own proportions. For something shown on a screen, export at twice the size it will be displayed at, so it stays crisp on high-density displays. The default of 1024 px suits most icons and illustrations.
External images and fonts are not loaded
For security the SVG is rendered without fetching anything from the network: linked images stay empty and a font that isn’t installed on your device is replaced by a fallback. Embed images as data URIs and convert text to outlines in your editor before exporting.
PNG or JPG
PNG keeps the transparent background, which is what you want for logos and icons. JPG needs a solid colour behind the drawing (pick it in the options) and only pays off for large, photo-like illustrations where the file size matters.
Questions
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your browser, so your photos never leave your device. Close the tab and nothing is left behind.
Will external images or fonts referenced by the SVG show up?
External resources are not loaded, for security reasons. Embed images as data URIs and convert text to paths.
